Refund and Returns Policy
This policy applies to orders placed on johgeeirrig.com for delivery to the United States, Canada and Australia.
30-day return policy
You have 30 days from the day you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging with all accessories and fittings included. You will need your order number or proof of purchase.
This is a commercial policy we offer voluntarily. It sits alongside — and does not replace — any rights you have under the consumer law of your own country or state, described below.
How to start a return
Email support@johgeeirrig.co.uk with your order number and the reason for the return. Do not send an item back before we reply: returns sent without a return authorisation may not be traceable to your order. We will confirm the return address in the United Kingdom and explain how to send the item.
Who pays return shipping
- Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: we pay return shipping, and you are not out of pocket.
- Change of mind: you pay return shipping. Because the return travels to the United Kingdom, this can be a meaningful cost from North America or Australia — please factor it in before ordering. We recommend a tracked service; we cannot refund an item we never receive.
Any import duty or tax you paid on the original shipment is generally recoverable only from your own customs authority, not from us. We cannot refund charges we did not collect.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the return, we will tell you whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it.
Faulty or damaged goods
Please inspect your order on arrival. If the item is defective, damaged, or is not what you ordered, contact us immediately with photographs so we can put it right. Do not install a visibly damaged unit on a live water supply.
Items we cannot accept
We cannot accept returns of items that have been installed and used on a water supply and returned in unsalable condition, items missing their original packaging or fittings, or items returned more than 30 days after delivery. Gift cards are non-returnable.
Your statutory rights
United States
There is no general federal right to cancel an online purchase in the United States. The FTC’s Cooling-Off Rule applies to certain sales made at your home or away from the seller’s normal place of business, and does not apply to orders placed on this website. The 30-day policy above is therefore the return right we contractually give you. Some states provide additional consumer remedies, and nothing here limits them.
Canada
Consumer protection in Canada is set province by province. Depending on your province and the value of your order, provincial law may give you additional cancellation or remedy rights for internet agreements — for example where required information was not disclosed before you ordered, or where goods are not delivered within a prescribed period. Those rights apply in addition to this policy, and nothing here restricts them.
Australia
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our 30-day policy and our 12-month warranty are given in addition to these guarantees and do not limit them in any way.
Warranty
The Johgee 4-Zone RF Water Timer carries a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, running from the delivery date. The warranty does not cover damage from freezing, over-tightening a fitting, water pressure outside the product’s stated range, battery leakage, or ordinary wear. For Australian customers, this warranty is additional to the consumer guarantees set out above.
